On Saturday, February 13, 2016, Northwestern University held its 3rd Annual Intramural Global Health Case Competition. This year's case was graciously provided by the 2011 Emory Global Health Case Competition Writing Team. Students from both undergraduate and graduate schools came together to create possible solutions to a global health problem.

On Saturday, February 14, 2015 Northwestern University held its 2nd Annual Intramural Global Health Case Competition. Teams were made up of undergraduate and graduate students across all schools and various disciplines who competed to develop innovative, feasible, and sustainable global health solutions. The goal of the case study competition was to train the next generation of global health leaders through a unique competition experience built upon a real-world challenge.

Northwestern University held its first intramural global health case competition on February 14-15, 2014. Teams were made up of undergraduate and graduate students across all schools and various different disciplines and competed to develop innovative, feasible, and sustainable global health recommendations. Specifically, they were tasked with designing an intervention to end malnutrition in Uganda and a corresponding presentation.

The winning team of the Northwestern case competition competed in Emory University’s Global Health Case Competition in Atlanta, which annually brings together over twenty teams from universities around the world. Travel expenses were paid by Northwestern.
