Symposium on Northwestern’s Medical Response to the Haiti Earthquake

Wednesday, April 28, 2010 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm

In response to the earthquake in Haiti, the Feinberg School of Medicine's Center for Global Health coordinated relief efforts by mobilizing medical supplies and volunteers to address Haiti’s medical needs.  As a result, more than 100 medical staff  from the Northwestern University and Northwestern Memorial Hospital community signed up to volunteer to serve on deployment teams that traveled to Haiti to provide medical care to earthquake victims. This symposium will feature three volunteers as they describe their experiences. The event will engage the Feinberg community in an informative discussion.
