Welcome to Northwestern University’s Global Health Portal
As the world becomes increasingly globalized, awareness of international health inequities has accelerated like never before, and students and faculty have responded with growing momentum. Northwestern has risen to address the passion of its students through a plethora of new opportunities and resources in education, research, and hands-on experiences.
The undergraduate Global Health Minor is currently Northwestern’s fastest growing academic program, and the University now offers interested students a myriad of international academic programs to choose from as well as coursework taught by Northwestern faculty in disciplines ranging from engineering to political science, business to journalism. The Center for Global Health at Feinberg has also developed multiple research and educational training programs in resource-limited countries for its medical students and faculty, adding to the University’s collective motivation toward the worldwide pursuit of global health equity.
This portal aims to serve as a go-to hub for the various global health activities happening across both campuses, and it was developed through the generous support of the National Institute of Health Fogarty International Center’s "Framework Programs for Global Health" grant.
